Subprocessors

The companies that help run Identity Entry.

Effective October 17, 2026

1. What a subprocessor is

A subprocessor is a company Identity Entry uses to host or run part of the service, which may process personal information on Identity Entry's behalf. Identity Entry keeps this list short and uses each subprocessor only for the purposes listed here.

2. Cloud hosting provider

  • Hosting: runs the website, console, capture pages, API and MCP server.
  • Database: stores accounts, workspace settings, check results and the audit log.
  • Encrypted storage: stores ID photos and selfies, which are encrypted before they are stored.
  • Email: delivers sign-in and account messages.

3. Payment processor

  • Payments: processes purchases of checks. Card and bank details are entered on the processor's secure page and not stored by Identity Entry.
  • Bank check: sends the small deposits used to confirm a bank account.

4. Public record sources

The background check searches public sources whose terms permit automated search. These sources publish records rather than process information on Identity Entry's behalf, so they are not subprocessors. The Background Check Notice explains how they are used.

5. How subprocessors are held to account

Each subprocessor is bound to protect personal information under terms that are no less protective than Identity Entry's own commitments, and to use it only to provide its part of the service. Identity Entry remains responsible for their work.

6. Changes to this list

Identity Entry will update this page and give businesses notice before adding or replacing a subprocessor. A business may object on reasonable data protection grounds, and Identity Entry will work with it to resolve the concern.

7. Questions

For questions about a subprocessor or to ask for notice of changes, use the contact page.
